Zino Honduras

The new Zino Honduras line features an exciting tobacco combination from the Jamastrán valley and the Copán region in Honduras. Due to the specific climate conditions in the Copán region – warm days and cool nights – the tobacco develops a solid base of aromas by high sugar production during the day that is retained and preserved through the low temperatures at night. This gives the tobacco a complex aroma, a gentle natural sweetness and a moderate intensity.

The main challenge was to achieve a balanced blend by harmonizing the spicy and intense flavors of tobaccos from the Jamastrán Valley with the sweet, woody and earthy notes of the Copán tobacco. This required careful craftsmanship and expertise to ensure the flavors came together smoothly.

The Copán tobacco, which requires the longest ageing process, was aged for approximately three to five years, adding a smooth creaminess that softens the harsher notes. Thanks to Davidoff ’s expert craftsmanship and strict quality standards, the new blend delivers a   taste experience.
