Villiger 1888 Gran Reserva

Year after year, Villiger releases a small number of limited-edition cigars, and they are almost always phenomenal. This year’s limited release will not disappoint.

The Villiger 1888 Gran Reserva is a gem comprised of tobacco from three countries. The first thing you notice is the beautiful, thick, oily Mexican San Andres wrapper. Next up is the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and then finally, select tobacco from Esteli and Jalapa, two of the best tobacco growing regions in Nicaragua.

This robust cigar delivers a broad spectrum of aromas, leather notes, black pepper, nuts and roasted coffee, finishing off with a subtle hint of sweet chocolate. The room note and aroma are bold and tantalizing. The cigar is offered in one size, a box-pressed Toro.

Note: All of the tobaccos used are aged for at least Two years in bales before the cigars were rolled. The cigars are then aged for an additional year.
