The Villa Castagli line offers a complex and full-bodied smoke featuring “mejorado” tobaccos from Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Peru.
“Mejorado” means “improvement”. The Villa Castagli tobaccos go through a process of further fermentation with the tobaccos given four extra months of aging in the “pilon”. Although expensive in time and labor, the process further enriches the tobacco.
You will experience hearty notes of pepper, oak and nuts with a long, smooth finish and a great room note.
