The Toraño brand has been in somewhat of a holding pattern since General Cigar acquired the entire line in 2014. Now, the cigars have finally been revamped with bright new packaging, a new blend and a new image. Almost all of the old Torano names and brands have been discontinued and now will be marketed under the Exodus and Vault lines.
Made with a curated selection of outstanding tobaccos from four countries, the star of this cigar is its wrapper. A reddish, seco-priming leaf from the Honduran valley of San Agustin imparts complex spicy flavors and burns into a stark white ash. You will find the overall smoke to be medium-bodied and complex with a variety of nuances created by this blend.
The vibrant packaging is a reference to the colorful murals found throughout the Wynwood section of Miami, and the new blend represents a new start for the brand.
