FINALLY AVAILABLE AGAIN!
Ferio Tego, the new cigar brand from former Nat Sherman executives Michael Herklots and Brendon Scott, made its market debut in October 2021. The company announced that the first two releases from the brand would be limited, each one made in a different country by a different company.
Herklots called the two cigars “quite different from one another in style and pedigree.” He said the Elegancia will have “creamier, brighter notes” while the Generoso has been blended to show “dense, savory notes.”
This was one of the most highly anticipated cigars to arrive in 2021 and they're still going strong, …if you can find them. Get them while you can.
FERIO TEGO ELEGANCIA
Ferio Tego Elegancia, rolled in Licey, Dominican Republic by the Quesada family, has a blend of Ecuadorian wrapper, Dominican binder and a mix of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. The perfectly blended cigar provides a unique, creamy and complex smoke with nuanced notes of wood and nuts and ending with a long lasting, smooth finish. The Quesda family has a long history of making some of the best cigars in the world.
FERIO TEGO GENEROSO
Ferio Tego Generoso, which comes from the Plasencia Family in Esteli, Nicaragua, utilizes Honduran shade-grown wrapper surrounding Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Plasencia is the largest maker of cigars in the world and has a well-earned reputation for producing fabulous small-batch, limited editions. They hit the nail on the head with the Generoso.
The dense, thick, and rich notes provide you with a hearty, full-flavored smoke, but not overly strong or with too much spice. The Generoso was created to find the niche of full-flavor, but not overwhelming power.
