ALL TOBACCOS AGED A MINIMUM OF 7 YEARS AND FINISHED IN THE ANDULLO METHOD
Andullo is a method that imparts strength and flavor to tobacco. Andullo is created by taking cured tobacco leaves, wrapping them tightly in palm tree pods with rope, and hanging them to ferment for a period of two years. The process turns the tobacco into dark, hard logs resembling big sausages. Dominicans have smoked Andullo as pipe tobacco for more than 500 years.
This cigar has a distinctly sweet aroma when smelled before lighting it. The initial flavor upon smoking is also sweet with fruity notes, and the draw is smooth and effortless. The taste is enriched with a salty finish, and the draw is perfect. About an inch into smoking, the flavors become more complex with notes of espresso, mild salt, and a spicy taste on the exhale. It features a mixture of dark chocolate, coffee, and salt, all of which come together smoothly. The overall experience of smoking this cigar is elegant yet casual enough for regular enjoyment.
