BREAKING NEWS - AUGUST 2021
The Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper has a new home for its production, as it has been moved out of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic and into Tabacos de Oriente, the Plasencia-owned facility in Danlí, Honduras.

While some might speculate that the change will result in a different cigar, the Rubin brothers said that nothing will be changing about the cigar. The Plasencia factory in Danli is one of the finest cigar making facilities in the world.
Gatekeeper features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covering Nicaraguan binder and a great blend of fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Medium-bodied and teeming with full-flavor, the cigar is firmly packed with a slow, even burn and features a rich, smooth profile with notes of leather, chestnuts and cedar.
With Gatekeeper, Alec and Bradley have opened the gates to new tobaccos and experiences. Plassencia, as the maker, guarantees that the quality will match this vision.
