Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Filler: Dominican, Nicaraguan
Country of Origin: Dominican Republic
Cigar Strength: Medium
Slowly, but surely, Alan Rubin is putting the future of Alec Bradley in the hands of his two sons, Alec and Bradley. Following on the heels of Alec and Bradley’s first release, the wildly successful Blind Faith, comes their second release, Gatekeeper.
On this project, they worked together with the ‘Godfather’ of cigars, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo at his factory in the Dominican Republic.
Gatekeeper features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covering Nicaraguan binder and a great blend of fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Medium-bodied and teeming with full-flavor, the cigar is firmly packed with a slow, even burn and features a rich, smooth profile with notes of leather, chestnuts and cedar.
With Gatekeeper, Alec and Bradley have opened the gates to new tobaccos and experiences. Ernesto has given the Rubin brothers the opportunity to grow as second-generation cigar makers.
