Aging Room Quattro Concerto Series

The new Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto is the third edition of this award-winning brand, a collaboration between Rafael Nodal at Altadis USA and AJ Fernandez. 

According to Nodal, Concerto was blended around a hybrid Criollo ’98 wrapper grown on Fernandez’s La Lilia farm in Estelí. The all-Nicaraguan blend also includes tobacco from the first harvest of Fernandez’s Los Espejos farm nearly 12 years ago. Rafael says that these farms produce thicker leaves that require extra fermentation and aging time.

This Nicaraguan Puro, medium to full-bodied, delivers notes of rich earthiness, coffee, chestnuts and a touch of spice.

“The Concerto, inspired by classical music compositions, represents a harmonious collaboration between a solo instrument and orchestral accompaniment,” Nodal explains. “In this blend, the solo instrument is the exclusive hybrid Criollo ’98 wrapper. The selected extra-aged tobaccos represent the accompaniment to create a concerto of flavors.”
