Back in March 2025, a fire caused extensive damage at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua. The challenge for AJ was daunting, and the cigar industry rallied behind him, offering him support, supplies and other help. Out of this travesty, New World Amar was born.
AJ’s motto for the Amar is “Gold is Tested by Love”. In Spanish, Amar means “to love”, and it was a testament to resilience and gratefulness that Amar was created, literally from the ashes of this fire.
New World Amar is a medium to full-bodied smoke that delivers notes of pepper, cocoa and a natural touch of sweetness. This Puro is manufactured in AJ’s San Lotano factory and delivers as promised.
The Amar was released as part of the New World line and is offered for sale at a very reasonable price, in part as a tribute, and thank you for the support received during a very difficult time.
