Cigars and mob movies can sometimes go hand in hand. Actor Chazz Palminteri certainly thinks so. He wrote both the screenplay and starred in the Mafia film A Bronx Tale and released his first brand of the same name in 2023. Now, Palminteri has a new limited-edition cigar named after his character: the charismatic yet fatalistic crime boss Sonny.

Sonny is available in one size, a box-pressed Toro measuring 6 1/2 inches by 54 ring gauge. Sonny follows up A Bronx Tale Calogero which was named after the film’s protagonist. Like their screen counterparts, Sonny is bolder than Calogero, with a full-bodied blend incorporating a dark, Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper with a Dominican binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers.
