Product Review - La Galera Connecticut
The La Galera Connecticut is one of the new arrivals from July's IPCPR Industry Trade Show.
Made by famous cigar maker Jochy Blanco, this mild to medium-bodied cigar is being sold directly by Jochy through his newly acquired Indian Head Cigars, a company sold to him by Bill Bock, recently retired and one of my oldest friends in the industry.
All of the tobaccos used in La Galera are grown on Jochy's exclusive Dominican farms, with the exception of the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper (grown where? that's right, Ecuador! Give yourself an "A" if you got it right)
The cigar starts mild and evolves into a mild to medium-bodied profile with a full flavor, perfect burn and excellent overall construction.
We'd recommend these to anyone looking for an easy-smoking milder cigar or any fans of Perdomo Champagne, Oliva Connecticut or Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real. We think you'll not only enjoy the cigar, but will love the price too.
Try these and we would love your feedback.
